The Role | Sixth Form Learning Mentor
As a Sixth Form Learning Mentor, you will:
- Support students in developing study skills, independent learning, and effective time management
- Mentor students and supervise private study sessions
- Guide students through university applications and personal statements
- Contribute to enrichment programs and assist with the EPQ
- Support students at risk of disengaging to stay motivated and achieve their potential
- Maintain positive behaviour and learning environments by setting clear expectations and supporting students in making responsible choices
Requirements | Sixth Form Learning Mentor
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a top 20 UK university
- Confident and capable of working effectively with Sixth Form students
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills, with the ability to set clear expectations and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and support students academically and personally
