Are you an ambitious Social Science Graduate Teaching Assistant looking to become a Social Sciences Teacher?

An ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Tower Hamlets, that consistently achieves some of the highest GCSE and A-Level results in the country, is seeking a Social Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across the Social Sciences department.

As a Social Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work with pupils in KS3 to KS5, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. You’ll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in Geography.

Social Science Graduate Teaching Assistant | Key Responsibilities

• Providing in-class support in Social Sciences lessons
• Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students
• Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking
• Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds

Social Science Graduate Teaching Assistant with | We’re looking for

• Commitment from September 2025 to July 2026
