Join an exceptional Primary School in Ealing as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, where you’ll play a pivotal role in helping young learners overcome barriers to communication and thrive academically and socially.

Speech and Language Teaching Assistant – What’s on Offer:

• £95 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), paid weekly via PAYE.
• Full-time role starting immediately and running until the end of the academic year (July).
• Gain valuable hands-on experience supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).
• Work closely with speech therapists, SEN coordinators, and teachers to deliver tailored interventions.
• Opportunity to observe therapy sessions and assist with personalised learning plans.
  
  

As a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with speech and language difficulties.
• Help deliver targeted interventions and monitor progress under the guidance of professionals.
• Foster confidence and communication skills in children across Key Stages 1 and 2.
• Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

 

Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Who Are We Looking For?

• A graduate with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, Linguistics, or Education.
• Prior experience supporting children with SLCN is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
• A proactive, empathetic, and adaptable individual eager to make a difference.
