Sports Graduate – Teaching Assistant – Sixth Form College – Central West London – Immediate Start

Are you a Sports Graduate with an interest in supporting young people academically and personally as they work towards their future goals? This exciting opportunity at a Sixth Form College in Central West London offers you the chance to make a real difference by supporting students on Level 1, 2 and 3 BTEC programmes, while also contributing to Biology lessons where your subject knowledge will be valuable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Sixth Form students across BTEC Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications, particularly in sports-related subjects.
  • Provide additional support in Biology, assisting both teachers and students to build confidence in key concepts.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure students remain engaged, focused, and on track with coursework and assignments.
  • Offer structured academic and pastoral support, encouraging students to stay motivated and develop independent study habits.
  • Act as a positive role model, fostering confidence, resilience, and ambition among learners.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A Sports Graduate (or related field) with strong communication skills and enthusiasm for supporting young adults.
  • Some knowledge of Biology, with the ability to support teaching and learning in this subject.
  • Previous experience in a school, college, or youth-focused environment is highly desirable.
  • A collaborative team player with the initiative to work independently and provide tailored support to students.
  • A genuine interest in education, with aspirations to build a career in teaching, coaching, or related fields.
Location: Central West London – a welcoming and student-focused Sixth Form College.
Start Date: Immediate, with the position running until July 2026.
