Teaching Assistant – ADHD & Dyslexia Support
Croydon | £450-£500 per week | September 2025 start
Are you an aspiring Primary Teacher looking to gain experience as a Teaching Assistant before starting your PGCE or Teacher Training?
Ribbons & Reeves are working with a fantastic Primary School in Croydon seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ADHD and Dyslexia. This role is ideal for a graduate with a strong academic background who is passionate about inclusive education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support to children across Key Stage 1 and 2. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop strategies that help pupils stay focused, regulate their emotions and progress in literacy and core subjects.

Teaching Assistant – Role Summary
- Full-time | Mon–Fri | 8:30am–4:00pm
- Fixed term: September 2025 to July 2026
- £450-£500 per week | Paid weekly via PAYE
- Based in a supportive and inclusive Croydon Primary School
- 2:1 degree or above (Education Studies, Early Childhood Studies, Psychology, English, Maths, Science, Humanities or closely related degree subjects are desirable)
- Previous experience with children aged 4–11 (voluntary or paid)
- Strong understanding of SEND specifically ADHD and Dyslexia
- Calm, proactive and empathetic personality
- Genuine ambition to train as a Primary Teacher
