The Role – Trainee Music Teacher:
- Support the delivery of Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils in Music
- Lead subject-specific interventions to support progress and engagement
- Support practical and theory-based Music learning, both in and out of the classroom
- Assist with behaviour management to maintain a focused and positive learning environment
- Work closely with Music staff, pastoral teams and families where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate - Trainee Music Teacher:
- A 2:1 or above in a Music-related degree from a leading UK university
- A strong interest in Music education and classroom-based experience
- Confidence supporting pupils with SEND and managing behaviour
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A proactive, creative attitude with a clear ambition to train as a Music teacher
