Writing Academic Mentors | About the Role:
As a Writing Academic Mentor, you’ll:
- Work closely with students across KS1–KS5 to develop their writing skills.
- Deliver targeted interventions to support literacy progress.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to tailor support for individual learners.
- Inspire confidence and creativity in students’ written expression.
- A degree in English, or a related subject.
- Previous experience working with young people (in schools, tutoring, or mentoring).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A patient, positive, and proactive approach.
- Graduates seeking school-based experience before a PGCE/teacher training.
- Aspiring teachers or writers passionate about education.
- Individuals looking to make a real difference in young lives.
