Compliance and Safeguarding
Compliance sits at the core of everything we do. We are committed to the highest standards of safeguarding, ensuring that every candidate we place and every school we partner with is fully protected, supported, and compliant with current legislation.
Our approach is built on transparency, rigour, and accountability, giving schools complete confidence in the people they bring into their environments.
APSCo Compliance+ Accredited
We operate in line with APSCo Compliance+, one of the most respected quality benchmarks in the education recruitment sector.
APSCo (the Association of Professional Staffing Companies) audits its members annually to ensure they meet strict standards. Compliance+ requires agencies to exceed baseline safeguarding expectations and demonstrate best practice across candidate vetting, competency checks, and service delivery.
This accreditation reflects our commitment to:
-Safer recruitment practices
-High-quality candidate selection
-Ongoing compliance and monitoring
-Consistent, transparent processes
Our Vetting Process
Every candidate we work with goes through a thorough and structured compliance process before they are introduced to a school. This includes:
-Comprehensive Registration – capturing key information, declarations, and employment history
-In-depth Interview – assessing suitability, experience, and safeguarding awareness
-Identity Verification – confirming identity through official documentation
-Right to Work Checks – ensuring legal eligibility to work in the UK
-Enhanced DBS Clearance – including barred list checks where applicable
-Reference Checks – verifying recent employment and performance
-Qualification Checks – confirming relevant certifications and credentials
-Prohibition & Regulatory Checks – ensuring candidates are cleared to work in education
-Overseas Vetting (where required) – including police checks and qualification equivalency
We also ensure all candidates have up-to-date safeguarding knowledge, including key areas such as Child Protection, Prevent, and other statutory requirements.
Ongoing Compliance
Our responsibility doesn’t end once a placement is made.
We continuously monitor our candidates to ensure ongoing compliance, including tracking DBS updates, maintaining accurate records, and adapting to any changes in legislation or safeguarding guidance.
This ongoing oversight ensures that standards are maintained throughout every assignment, not just at the point of placement.
A Trusted Partner
For schools, this means peace of mind. You can be confident that every individual we introduce has been carefully vetted, fully compliant, and prepared to contribute safely and effectively within your setting.
