Are you a confident and approachable graduate with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)?

Do you have a strong understanding of Developmental Psychology and a desire to build a career in education, psychology, therapy or counselling?

A vibrant and inclusive Primary School in Croydon is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work closely with a non-verbal Year 1 child with Autism (ASC).

This full-time role runs from now until July 2026, offering valuable long-term experience for aspiring psychologists, therapists and educators.

We are looking for someone who is:

• An aspirational graduate, ideally in Psychology or a related field
• Resilient, adaptable, patient, and confident in their ability to build rapport
• Experienced (or eager to learn) in supporting children with Autism or SEND
• Committed to learning and applying best practices in SEND support
• Experience in schools or with children is highly desirable, but those with the right mindset, empathy, and a willingness to grow will be fully supported in the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a meaningful difference in a child’s life. The role is paid weekly via PAYE, offering £95–£100 per day.
