We are seeking a passionate and driven ARP Teaching Assistant to join a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated secondary school in Redbridge this September. Key responsibilities of the ARP Teaching Assistant:
- Support students within the ARP, focusing on Autism and ADHD needs
- Deliver tailored interventions to improve behaviour, focus and attainment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Work closely with SENCO and external professionals
- Help implement EHC Plans and support learning within a structured environment
- Use creativity and flexibility to adapt to students’ individual needs
What we’re looking for in an ARP Teaching Assistant:
- 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a top 20 UK university
- Experience supporting students in a school or youth setting (preferred)
- Confident working with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
- Resilient, adaptable and proactive in the classroom
- Desire to pursue a career in Psychology, Teaching, or SEN
