Aspiring SEN Teacher – Hounslow – November 2025 Start
Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: November 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: Minimum £444 per week (PAYE)

Are you a graduate passionate about supporting children with complex SEND needs and keen to gain classroom experience before becoming a qualified SEN Teacher?
A welcoming mainstream primary school in South West London is looking for an Aspiring SEN Teacher to join their new SEND hub. You’ll be supporting pupils with severe autism and developmental delay, some of whom require help with personal care and toileting. This role is perfect for graduates with a background in Psychology, Education, or a related subject who are interested in progressing towards a career in SEN teaching, Educational Psychology, or Speech and Language Therapy.

The Role:
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with complex SEND needs
- Provide personal care, including toileting support when needed
- Support learning activities and individual support plans
- Promote confidence, independence, and communication skills
- Hours: 08:30–15:30 with a 30-minute break
We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
- Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic about working with SEND pupils
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Some experience with children or young people is helpful but not essential
- Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one
