Are you a recent graduate from a Top 20 UK university with strong A-Level results and a passion for working with children?
Step into the classroom this September 2025 as an Aspiring Teacher in a Primary school in Westminster. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain paid, practical experience in education before committing to teacher training or a PGCE.

Aspiring Teacher – The Role
As an Aspiring Teacher in a primary setting, you will:
- Support class teachers across Early Years, KS1 or KS2, depending on your strengths and interests
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce core subjects such as Phonics, Reading, Writing and Maths
- Assist with lesson planning, classroom organisation, and pastoral care
- Help prepare learning materials and contribute to creating a positive learning environment
- Support pupils with additional needs through targeted interventions
What We’re Looking For in an Aspiring Teacher
- A 2:1 degree or higher from a Top 20 UK university
- AAB or higher at A-Level
- A passion for education and supporting children’s development
- Strong communication, patience, and empathy
- A proactive and committed approach to life in the classroom
- £450–£525 per week (PAYE) – depending on experience and school
- Build invaluable classroom experience in a vibrant and inclusive primary school
- Receive mentorship and support from experienced primary teachers
- Develop skills in behaviour management, early learning pedagogy, and child development
- Join a graduate network of fellow Aspiring Teachers with similar goals
- A strong stepping stone towards a PGCE or teacher training programme
