The ideal Behaviour Mentor will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university and have previous experience supporting children or young people in any capacity. You’ll need to be patient, confident, and committed to making a difference in a secondary school environment. A genuine interest in youth mental health, pastoral care, or teaching would make this role a perfect stepping stone.

- Providing 1:1 and small group mentoring for pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs
- Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and engagement in lessons
- Liaising with the SENCO and pastoral teams to ensure consistent support
- Supporting in-class behaviour management and lesson transitions
- Helping pupils develop self-regulation, confidence, and communication skills

- Term-time only (Monday to Friday)
- Potential for teacher training or extended contract following a successful placement
