As the Biology Teacher you will:
- Plan, teach, and assess high-quality Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE triple or combined) and A-Level.
- Develop a curriculum that connects scientific knowledge with real-world applications, aligned with the school’s knowledge-rich approach.
- Monitor students’ progress, providing feedback, intervention, and stretch tasks to ensure all make exceptional progress.
- Lead or contribute to enrichment, practical, fieldwork, and extracurricular science experiences.
- Collaborate with Science department colleagues to share resources, plan cross-disciplinary links, and ensure coherence across courses.
- Participate in departmental quality assurance, data analysis, and contribute to school targets and development plans.
- Contribute to wider school life: pastoral duties, assemblies, school events, and cross-curricular projects.
