An outstanding sixth form college in Wandsworth is looking to appoint a Business Studies Lecturer to join their high-achieving team from September 2025.


This permanent position is ideal for someone with experience teaching BTEC and/or A-Level Business Studies and a genuine interest in helping post-16 learners achieve their next steps.

 
As a Business Studies Lecturer, you’ll teach Year 12 and 13 students, plan and deliver high-quality content, and contribute to a successful and innovative department. The college is well-resourced, offers sector-leading CPD, and promotes staff autonomy and trust.

 
Business Studies Lecturer – Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons across BTEC and A-Level courses
• Support students through personalised feedback and exam prep
• Help shape the Business curriculum and maintain high academic standards
• Take part in enrichment, careers activities, and open evenings

 
Requirements:

• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS/QTLS)
• Degree in Business or related subject
• Experience in post-16 or FE teaching is essential
