Chemistry Teacher – Hammersmith and Fulham

The Role – Chemistry Teacher
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:
• Deliver a rigorous and sequenced chemistry curriculum across KS3 and KS4
• Secure strong subject knowledge in organic, inorganic and physical chemistry
• Use assessment to identify misconceptions and address gaps
• Adapt teaching to support pupils with SEND and those new to English
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic focus
• Contribute to curriculum development within the science department
The Ideal Chemistry Teacher Will Have:
• QTS and a strong academic background in chemistry
• Experience teaching chemistry at KS3 and KS4
• High expectations for achievement and conduct
• Confidence using assessment to inform planning, familiarity with exam boards such as AQA and Edexcel
• Commitment to inclusion and equal access
• Clear communication and strong classroom presence
