Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £105.00 per day (PAYE)

We’re looking for an English Graduate Teaching Assistant to support literacy development and provide targeted interventions at a vibrant secondary school in Hounslow.

 
As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with students aged 11–16, supporting their reading, writing, and comprehension skills. You’ll assist in class, deliver small group sessions, and help students who need extra support in accessing the English curriculum.

 
Key responsibilities:

• Supporting English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering reading and writing interventions in small groups
• Assisting students with SEND or low literacy levels
• Collaborating with the English Department and Literacy Lead

 
This English Graduate Teaching Assistant role is ideal for those considering a career in English teaching, publishing, or speech and language therapy.

 
We’re looking for:

• A First-Class or high 2:1 degree in English or related subject
• Passion for reading, literature, and supporting young learners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full academic year availability (September 2025 – July 2026)
