EYFS Teaching Assistant – Enfield – September 2025

EYFS Teaching Assistant – What the Role Involves
  • Supporting teaching and learning within the EYFS setting, assisting with small group activities and classroom routines
  • Providing 1:1 or small-group support for children with additional needs including SEN
  • Helping with classroom management to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Assisting with planning and delivering activities that promote communication, physical development, and early literacy and numeracy
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and other staff to support pupil development and progress
  • Interviews to begin w/c 25th August 2025
 
EYFS Teaching Assistant – What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience is highly valued. We are looking for proactive, compassionate, and committed individuals with excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.

EYFS Teaching Assistant – Salary and Contract Info
  • Salary: £444 per week, pro rata to term time only
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term (September–July), term-time only
  • Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
