Are you an ambitious Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant looking to become a Geography Teacher?

An ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Tower Hamlets, that consistently achieves some of the highest GCSE and A-Level results in the country, is seeking a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across the Geography department. 

As a Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work with pupils in KS3 to KS5, providing classroom assistance, subject-specific intervention, and academic mentoring. You’ll also support learners with SEN, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement in Geography.

Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant | Key Responsibilities

• Providing in-class support in Geography lessons
• Running 1:1 and group interventions for underachieving students
• Helping with lesson resources, planning, and marking
• Supporting students with SEND or EAL backgrounds

Geography Graduate Teaching Assistant with | We’re looking for

• A 2:1 or First-Class degree in a Geography subject from a Top 10 UK University
• Outstanding academic record, including excellent A-Level and GCSE results
• Confidence in supporting A-Level Geography students
• A genuine interest in education and social development
• Commitment from September 2025 to July 2026
