We are working in partnership with a spectacular secondary school in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, to appoint a Geography Teacher for an immediate start, initially until July 2026, with the potential to become permanent.

The Role | Geography Teacher

• Position: Geography Teacher (Qualified or Unqualified)
• Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Type: Full-Time (until July 2026 initially)
• Salary: Qualified: MPS/UPS (Fringe) | Unqualified: Competitive daily rate / unqualified scale

 
The Ideal Candidate | Geography Teacher
Qualified Route:

• PGCE in Geography with QTS
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
• Ability to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable)

Unqualified Route:

• Degree in Geography
• Minimum 1st or 2:1 classification
• Degree from a Russell Group university or Top 20 UK university
• Clear ambition to train as a teacher (PGCE/QTS)
• Experience working with young people is desirable
