Graduate Teaching Assistant – What’s on Offer
- Daily rate: £95–105 (PAYE)
- Full-time Graduate TA role in a supportive secondary school
- Experience tailored to shortage subjects: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, English, Languages
- Mentoring from experienced teachers and senior leaders
- A clear Train to Teach pathway into SCITT / PGCE teacher training
- A graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher in a relevant subject
- At least 6 months’ experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering)
- A genuine ambition to Train to Teach and qualify as a secondary school teacher
- Enthusiasm, resilience, and a strong commitment to helping pupils achieve
- Provide subject-specific support in your specialism (e.g. Maths, Science, English, Languages)
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to raise attainment
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Play an active part in school life while developing your teaching skills
