As Head of Business & Economics, you will be responsible for curriculum leadership, staff development, and ensuring excellent outcomes for students across KS4 and KS5.

Head of Business & Economics – INDHOT – Islington

As Head of Business & Economics, you will be responsible for curriculum leadership, staff development, and ensuring excellent outcomes for students across KS4 and KS5.
The role - Head of Business & Economics:
- Lead the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the Business & Economics department
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies at KS4 and Economics at KS5
- Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE and A-Level exams
- Manage and support a team of subject specialists
- Drive standards in teaching, learning, and pupil progress
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives as a middle leader

- Experience teaching Economics at KS5
- Experience teaching Business Studies at KS4
- Track record of preparing students for GCSE and A-Level success
- Proven team leadership or management experience
- Prior experience in a middle leadership capacity
- Experience teaching Level 3 BTEC Business
- Involvement in curriculum development or teaching and learning initiatives
- Contribution to extracurricular activities (e.g., enterprise clubs, competitions)
