• Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour
• Collaborating with teachers to enhance lesson planning and delivery
• Contributing to departmental initiatives and pupil engagement activities

History Academic Mentor – What the School is Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university, ideally with experience or interest in History. Previous child-centred experience is valued but not essential. Schools seek proactive, compassionate, and committed individuals with excellent communication skills and a strong eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

History Academic Mentor – Salary and Contract Info

• Salary: £450–£530 per week, pro rata to term time only
• Contract: Full-time, long-term (September–July), term-time only
• Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
