Are you a passionate History graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education before training to teach? A high-performing secondary school in Kensington & Chelsea is offering an exciting opportunity for a History Graduate Academic Mentor to join their team from September 2025.

In this role, you’ll work closely with students to support their academic development in History and across the humanities. Through tailored one-to-one and small group interventions, you’ll help students build subject confidence, develop analytical skills, and achieve their full potential.

What you’ll be doing as a History Graduate Academic Mentor:

• Providing targeted academic support to KS3 and KS4 students in History
• Helping students develop critical thinking and essay-writing skills
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions
• Building strong, positive relationships with students and becoming a key part of their academic journey

Who we’re looking for:

• A recent History graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree
• Someone with a passion for education and the ability to inspire young people
• A confident communicator who is proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
