This is a full-time KS1 Primary Teacher post with class teacher responsibility and the benefit of working alongside a dedicated teaching assistant and experienced year group partner. KS1 Primary Teacher – Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver creative and effective lessons in Phonics, Literacy, Maths and Topic
- Use formative and summative assessments to track progress
- Create a calm, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Liaise closely with parents and colleagues across year group
Person Specification:
- QTS and a Primary Education PGCE (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Confident in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
- Committed to high standards in teaching, marking, and behaviour
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
- Creative, patient and positive classroom presence
