A welcoming 2-form-entry primary school in Brentford, Hounslow is looking for a talented KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

 

This is a permanent role, ideal for a teacher with a strong understanding of early literacy and phonics, and a passion for helping young learners build a strong academic foundation.

 

The school has a well-established curriculum and supportive SLT who prioritise staff wellbeing and professional growth. As a KS1 Teacher, you’ll have access to high-quality resources and be given the freedom to plan engaging, creative lessons that spark curiosity and promote progress.

 

KS1 Teacher – Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a Year 1 or Year 2 class (dependent on preference and experience)
• Deliver high-quality, well-differentiated lessons in core subjects
• Monitor and track pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
• Engage with families and contribute to a positive school community

 

Requirements:

• UK QTS is essential
• Experience teaching in KS1 (including ECTs with placement experience)
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics
