We’re currently working with a primary school in Richmond is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Years 3–6. This KS2 Teaching Assistant role is perfect for graduates who want to gain classroom experience and develop practical teaching skills before applying for teacher training. The KS2 Teaching Assistant will help pupils access lessons, run small group interventions, and provide one-to-one support in core subjects such as maths and English.

 
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will assist teachers with lesson preparation, help track pupil progress, and support pupils in both classroom learning and enrichment activities. The KS2 Teaching Assistant will also provide pastoral support, encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement throughout the school day.

 
Key responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in lessons across KS2
• Running small-group literacy and numeracy interventions
• Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback

 
We’re looking for:

• A UK undergraduate degree at 2:1 or above in any subject
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Interest in education and working with children
• Commitment to the full academic year
