Are you a Psychology graduate from a top UK university with a First-Class or high 2:1 degree? Are you ready to gain meaningful experience supporting teenage boys with additional learning needs?
We’re working with a high-performing secondary school and sixth form in Barnet to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to support boys aged 14–18. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring educational psychologists, youth workers, therapists, or those interested in adolescent mental health.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll provide tailored support to pupils in KS4 and KS5 – both in-class and on a 1:1 basis – helping students with Autism, ADHD, and other SEND needs to access learning and reach their potential. You’ll be joining a dedicated team of psychology-minded graduates who share a passion for student welfare and inclusion.
The school’s SEND department is led by an experienced SENDCo with a background in psychology and therapeutic education. You’ll benefit from regular mentoring, training sessions, and a well-resourced support structure that values graduate input and professional development.
