Speech and Language Graduate Teaching Assistant – Ealing – September 2025 Start

We are seeking a confident and compassionate Speech and Language Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a thriving and inclusive primary school in Ealing this September. This Ofsted ‘Good’ school is a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming environment with a strong commitment to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The school houses an ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) specifically for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), where the successful candidate will be based.

As a Speech and Language Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will benefit from:

Your role as a Speech and Language Graduate Teaching Assistant will include:
  • Supporting pupils with Speech and Language difficulties across EYFS and KS1 within the ARP
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers and therapists to deliver bespoke interventions
  • Building trusting relationships with students to enhance communication confidence and classroom engagement
  • Using a range of visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning strategies to aid pupil development
  • Maintaining consistent routines and behaviour strategies to support learning and progress
The ideal Speech and Language Graduate Teaching Assistant will have:
  • A 2:1 or higher in a Psychology, Linguistics, Speech and Language, or related degree
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, especially those with SLCN
  • A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach to learning
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development
