As a Literacy Support member, you will:

• Provide targeted literacy intervention to small groups of high-attaining pupils
  
  
• Work with students with SEND, offering 1:1 literacy support where needed
  
  
• Implement creative and proactive strategies to maintain engagement and progress
  
  
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents, supporting each child’s literacy journey
  
  
• Maintain high behaviour expectations and follow the school’s well-established curriculum
  
  
• Use your English degree to inspire, support and challenge learners in their reading and writing
  
  
• Work collaboratively as part of a large and successful team, sharing best practice and ideas
  
  

 

This Literacy Support role is ideal for a graduate with an English degree from a Top 20 UK University who is keen to pursue a career in teaching or child development. Previous experience supporting primary-aged children is highly desirable.
