What the Role Involves – Maths Academic Mentor

• Delivering targeted subject-based support in mathematics for small groups and individuals
• Leading intervention programmes and monitoring and tracking pupil progress
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff to adapt resources and differentiate learning
• Supporting classroom learning and managing small-group sessions effectively
• Contributing to mentoring and feedback cycles to help students meet their targets

 
What the School is Looking For
We seek compassionate, proactive individuals with a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience is highly valued. Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and dedication to pupil development are essential. Salary and Contract Info

• Academic Mentor roles: £450–£530 per week, pro rata (term-time only)
• Contract: Full-time, long-term (September–July), term-time only
• Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
