As a Maths ECT, you will:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3–KS5, with strong support from colleagues
  
  
• Work proactively within a team to ensure all students are making academic progress
  
  
• Show confidence in managing behaviour and upholding a culture of respect and ambition
  
  
• Collaborate with SEND specialists and adapt lessons to meet a variety of learning needs
  
  
• Engage with parents and carers, using your strong communication skills to support student outcomes
  
  
• Follow the curriculum effectively while using creativity to enhance student engagement
  
  
• Aspire to progress into middle or senior leadership roles within the school
  
  

What we’re looking for in a Maths ECT:

• A 1:1 Maths Degree from a top 20 UK University
  
  
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  
  
• Confidence in managing behaviour and supporting a diverse student cohort
  
  
• A team player who is flexible, creative, and proactive in the classroom
