We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school setting in Hillingdon. This SEND Teaching Assistant is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs to achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This role is well suited to a committed SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about inclusive education.

- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
About You
Schools are looking for a patient, reliable, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in SEND.
Essential:
- Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
- A caring and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow guidance and work proactively
Desirable:
- Experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, SEMH, ADHD, SLD, or PMLD)
- Knowledge of behaviour support strategies and inclusive practice
