Maths Graduate – West London – September 2025 Start

Are you a Maths Graduate eager to make a real impact in the classroom? Looking for an exciting opportunity to support students and gain school-based experience before teacher training? This Maths Graduate role in West London could be the ideal next step in your career.

This inclusive and ambitious Secondary School in West London is seeking a talented Maths Graduate to join their team as an Academic Mentor from September 2025. You’ll work closely with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing targeted Maths support both in class and in small group interventions.

Maths Graduate – Academic Mentor Role Summary:
  • Join a high-performing Maths department as a dedicated Academic Mentor
  • Work with students who need extra support to build confidence and close attainment gaps
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions in Maths across Years 7–11
  • Help plan and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
  • Full-time role starting in September 2025, running for the full academic year
  • Based in a welcoming, well-resourced school in West London

Maths Graduate – Candidate Profile:
  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Maths or a closely related subject

  • Excellent numeracy skills and strong subject knowledge
  • Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with students
  • Previous experience tutoring, mentoring or working with young people (preferred but not essential)
