Maths Teacher
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Permanent
A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its successful department from September. This permanent opportunity would suit a passionate Maths Teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality lessons and driving excellent student outcomes.
The Role
The successful Maths Teacher will:
• Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for an experienced Maths Teacher)
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons as a Maths Teacher
• Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities, including those with SEND
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future planning
• Provide clear and constructive feedback in their role as a Maths Teacher
• Contribute to curriculum development within the Mathematics department
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
• Support whole-school numeracy initiatives
The Maths Teacher will work collaboratively within a supportive department to ensure all learners are appropriately supported and challenged
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Maths Teacher will:
• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Mathematics
• Have the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
• Be committed to maintaining high academic standards as a professional Maths Teacher
• Show dedication to continuous professional development
• Thrive when working as part of a collaborative team
