Music Graduate / Learning Support Assistant – Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs
  • Use your Music or Music Tech background to engage and motivate learners
  • Support students with both academic and creative tasks, encouraging focus and resilience
  • Collaborate with Performing Arts staff to help facilitate rehearsals, workshops, or productions
  • Assist classroom teachers and the SENCO in delivering tailored support plans
  • Help manage behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
Music Graduate / Learning Support Assistant – Person Specification
  • Music-related degree essential (e.g. Music, Music Technology, Sound Production, Performing Arts with Music focus)
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable – ideally in schools, tutoring, community music, or youth arts projects
  • A proactive, creative, and patient Music Graduate who is passionate about supporting young people’s development
