PE Teacher | Southwark | September Start

A secondary school in Southwark is looking to appoint a PE Teacher from September.

The school is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. The PE department is active across the school, running a range of sports and extracurricular clubs alongside curriculum lessons.

You will teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching KS5 depending on experience.

PE Teacher – Role Overview:
  • Deliver PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan practical sessions that encourage participation and teamwork
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE PE where required
  • Support extracurricular clubs and school fixtures
  • Work alongside colleagues in the PE department

Person Specification:
  • QTS and a degree in PE, Sports Science or a related subject
  • Confident delivering practical lessons
  • Good organisation and behaviour management
  • Willing to support sport beyond the classroom
