A primary school in the Borough of Southwark is looking to appoint a Primary ECT from September 2026.

This is a permanent position suitable for an Early Career Teacher completing their training this year. The school offers a structured ECT programme with experienced mentors and clear support throughout your induction period.

The year group (EYFS, KS1 or KS2) will be discussed during the interview process and matched to your strengths where possible.

 
Primary ECT – The Role

• Permanent teaching role starting September 2026
  
  
• Full class teacher responsibilities
  
  
• Teach within EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  
  
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  
  
• Work closely with phase leaders and senior staff
