Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)

A popular primary school in Richmond is recruiting a Primary Learning Support Assistant to help children across Key Stage 1 and 2. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to build classroom experience before pursuing teacher training or education work.

 
As a Primary Learning Support Assistant, you’ll support pupils in literacy, numeracy and broader curriculum activities. You’ll help deliver interventions, assist with behaviour management and support inclusive learning. The school is known for its caring ethos and excellent parental engagement.

 
Key responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in literacy and numeracy activities
• Running small group and one-to-one interventions
• Helping manage behaviour and encourage positive relationships
• Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

 
We’re looking for:

• A 2:1 or above in any subject, with a keen interest in primary education
• A patient, encouraging and positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Availability for the full academic year, September 2025 to July 2026

 
Please note: Applicants must hold a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot accept overseas degrees (even with a UK Master’s). Sponsorship is not available.
