Full-Time – Barnet – ASAP Start
A North London primary school is seeking a warm, organised and proactive Primary Receptionist who can play a vital role in the smooth running of our school front office.
This is far more than a traditional receptionist position - we are looking for someone who can be a vocal point in the school office.
About the Role:
As our Primary Receptionist & School Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors. Alongside reception duties, you will support wider school operations by taking on a varied and rewarding mix of responsibilities, including:

About the Role:
As our Primary Receptionist & School Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors. Alongside reception duties, you will support wider school operations by taking on a varied and rewarding mix of responsibilities, including:
- Pastoral support for pupils, helping them feel safe, listened to and cared for
- First aid response for minor injuries and well-being concerns
- Attendance administration, including daily monitoring and parent communication
- Parent liaison, providing excellent customer service and clear communication
- Supervision of students, supporting behaviour
- General administrative duties to ensure the school runs efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with pupils and families
- Highly organised with strong administrative and IT skills
- Calm under pressure and able to multitask effectively
- Reliable, proactive and ready to get stuck into a range of responsibilities
- Experienced in a school environment (preferred but not essential)
