Primary Teaching Assistant – Hounslow – September 2025 Start
Location: Hounslow, West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025

This Primary Teaching Assistant role is perfect for a graduate hoping to pursue a career in primary teaching, speech and language therapy or educational psychology.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and school leaders to deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions, support classroom routines, and ensure that all children are engaged in their learning. The school is particularly looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant who is confident, proactive, and committed to supporting all learners, including those with SEND.

- Supporting playtime and lunchtime routines
- Promoting inclusive learning and tracking pupil progress
We’re looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in Education, Psychology or a related subject
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to the full academic year
