Role: Phonics Specialist
Salary: £450-£500 PW
Location: City of London
Contract Type: Full-time, 1-Year contract

Phonics Specialist | What we’re looking for:
- A passionate teacher or leader with a strong understanding of systematic synthetic phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc, Little Wandle or Letters and Sounds).
- Proven experience of improving reading outcomes, particularly in EYFS and KS1.
- A commitment to inclusive practice and narrowing the attainment gap.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, able to support and train colleagues effectively.
- High expectations for every child, with a belief that all children can succeed.
- Leading the planning, delivery and assessment of phonics across the school.
- Supporting and coaching staff in effective phonics teaching strategies.
- Monitoring progress and working closely with the English Lead and SLT.
- Organising and leading parent workshops and interventions as needed.
- A warm, welcoming and diverse school community.
- A strong leadership team who prioritise staff development and wellbeing.
- Excellent CPD opportunities and potential for career progression.
