Psychology Graduate - Learning Support Assistant

Pay: £107.59 per day PAYE (including holiday pay)
Contract: Full-time, term-time only | Start: September 2025


Hasmonean High School for Boys is looking for a Psychology Graduate to join their team as a Learning Support Assistant this September. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate who is passionate about working with young people and gaining experience in an educational setting.


This role suits a Psychology Graduate who is eager to work with students aged 13–18, particularly those with SEN and SEMH needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Global Developmental Delay.


The role will involve:

• Working closely with the SENCO to support students with SEN and SEMH needs
  
  
• Providing 1:1 and in-class support
  
  
• Collaborating with teaching staff to meet individual needs
  
  
• Supporting emotional regulation, focus, and communication skills
  
  
• Full training provided – ideal for a Psychology Graduate entering the education sector
  
  

We are looking for a Psychology Graduate who is:

• Dynamic – able to adapt quickly and think on your feet
  
  
• Collaborative – works well in a team environment
  
  
• Interpersonally strong – able to build positive relationships with staff and students
