Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach a broad curriculum including world religions, ethics, and philosophy (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and respect for diverse perspectives
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively
- Contribute to whole-school ethos and enrichment opportunities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for RE
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to promoting inclusivity and respect
- Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Religious Studies
- Ability to contribute to PSHE or Citizenship
- Interest in leading extracurricular activities such as debate or philosophy clubs
