• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEMH needs.
• Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
• Delivering interventions that encourage engagement, progress, and confidence.
• Supporting teaching and learning across the curriculum, adapting to individual needs.
• Interviews to begin w/c 25th August 2025.

 
SEMH TA - What the School is Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and compassionate graduate with a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience is highly valued, and strong communication skills alongside a genuine commitment to supporting young people are essential. You should bring patience, resilience, and a willingness to learn as you support pupils with SEMH needs in a mainstream secondary school setting.

SEMH TA - Salary and Contract Info

• Pay: £444 per week, pro rata to term-time only.
• Contract: Full-time, long-term (September–July), term-time only.
• Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement.
