Job description

SEN Support – Wandsworth – September 2025 Start

Are you interested in providing SEN Support to children in a school setting?

We are seeking a reliable SEN Support practitioner to join a school in Wandsworth from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone providing SEN Support to gain hands-on experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. You will help children access learning, develop social and behavioural skills, and build confidence.

The SEN Support role is ideal for graduates or those looking to develop a career in education, therapy, or social work. Providing SEN Support will allow you to understand different SEN approaches and interventions, and learn how to adapt strategies for individual pupils.

In this SEN Support role, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide 1:1 and small group support. You will assist pupils with learning, behavioural, and social challenges, help with interventions, and support participation in lessons. The role allows you to gain practical SEN experience, develop classroom management skills, and contribute to pupils’ academic and personal progress. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced staff, develop confidence in applying SEN strategies, and make a real difference to pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
