SEN Tutor | Greenwich

Are you a recent graduate seeking to support young learners with special needs?

As an SEN Tutor, you will support children and young adults (ages 4–25) with a wide range of needs, including but not limited to:
  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD / ADD
  • Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia
  • SEMH, Anxiety, Trauma
You'll join a team that crafts fun, interest-driven interventions to build confidence, boost academic engagement, and foster independence.

SEN Tutor | Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) and study skills.
  • Use SEN-specific teaching strategies (e.g., Makaton, PECS, executive function tools).
  • Foster social and emotional development, behaviour regulation, and independence.
  • Track progress, adjust lesson plans, and communicate with parents or referring bodies.
  • Collaborate with the school network and participate in team meetings or training.
SEN Tutor | What We’re Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of teaching strategies tailored to autism, dyslexia, ADHD, SEMH, trauma, PDA, etc.
  • Empathetic, adaptable, and creative in session delivery
  • Excellent rapport-building skills with students and families
  • Experience in being a 1:1 SEN Tutor, mainstream/SEN schools, or therapeutic settings
