Sociology Graduate – Wandsworth – September 2025 Start


Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Contract: September 2025 – July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025

 
Are you a Sociology Graduate looking to gain school-based experience before training as a teacher or youth worker?

 
A vibrant secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a Sociology Graduate to support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs from September. This Sociology Graduate role is ideal for anyone interested in youth work, social care, or inclusive education.

 
As a Sociology Graduate, you will work across various year groups, providing tailored support to students with SEN, SEMH, or challenging backgrounds.

 
Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with social and emotional difficulties
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups under the SEN team
  • Helping students re-engage with learning and build self-confidence
  • Supporting behaviour strategies and inclusion
 
We’re looking for:
  • A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Sociology (or related)
  • A confident, empathetic, and resilient nature
  • A desire to work with vulnerable or at-risk young people
  • Full-time availability from September 2025
