Unqualified SEN Teacher – What the Role Involves
- Planning, resourcing, and leading engaging sessions for up to 11 pupils with complex needs
- Delivering personalised learning aligned to EHCPs and individual support plans
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting provision accordingly
- Leading and working closely with a team of LSAs, including supporting personal care needs such as toileting
- Evidencing learning through photographs and appropriate assessment methods
- Liaising closely with the SENDCo to complete statutory paperwork and ensure compliance
- Communicating regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
