The Year 4 Class Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, with a particular focus on building reading and writing confidence. The Year 4 Class Teacher will work with the school’s excellent SEND and pastoral teams to ensure all children feel supported. The Year 4 Class Teacher will also take part in whole-school events and parent engagement activities.

 

Year 4 Class Teacher – Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a well-planned curriculum across core and foundation subjects
• Build strong relationships with pupils and parents
• Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
• Support wider school activities and trips

 

Person Specification:

• QTS and UK teaching experience (or completing QTS this year)
• A strong grasp of the KS2 curriculum
• Friendly, professional and passionate about inclusive education
